Stephen the beekeeper
Stephen started keeping bees in 2016, his ethos is the preservation of bees, helping the environment with pollination along with a very small carbon footprint. Stephen is a dairy manager working on a local farm milking the cows twice a day 6 days a week, in between this and on his days off he is seen tending to this bees throughout the Tarrant Valley.
He became an award winner in the Local Love Local Trust Local Awards for his honey through Rawston Farm & Butchery shop, due to the provenance of his bees and honey.
Stephen during the covid pandemic donated large quantities of his honey to the local foodbank, he felt that as he and his family were key workers and continued to work throughout these difficult times that by giving to those less fortunate was his way of helping.
