Dorset Hot Honey is here!

Dorset Hot Honey is here!

Stephen’s been talking about making a Hot Honey for over a year now. The idea kept buzzing around (pun fully intended), but one thing held him back — he didn’t want to lose the Dorset provenance that makes Tarrant Valley Honey what it is. Imported chillies just didn’t sit right.

Then he met the brilliant team at Weymouth 51, a local chilli grower crafting small-batch sauces and spices right here in Dorset. Problem solved. The result? Something rather special.

🌶 Hot Honey

Infused with fiery naga chilli from Weymouth 51, this one packs a deliciously sweet heat. It’s perfect drizzled over griddled halloumi (a firm summer favourite), spooned onto crispy fried chicken, drizzled on a meaty pizza or brushed across sausages or roast veg straight from the oven. It adds just the right balance of warmth, sweetness, and depth – the perfect autumn kitchen staple.

🍊 Honey with Ginger & Orange

Zesty, bright and naturally soothing, this one’s a real comfort in a jar. Stir a spoonful into hot water for a cosy evening drink, drizzle over pancakes, or swirl through Greek yoghurt for a burst of sunshine on a chilly morning. It’s the kind of thing that just makes you feel better – not medicine, just comfort.

Both new honeys are made in small batches, using the same pure Dorset honey gathered by the bees of the Tarrant Valley. Nothing added that shouldn’t be there – just nature at its best, with a hint of local creativity.

Available now at Rawston Farm Butchery & Shop — pop in and pick up a jar while they last.
